Vehicle description
This 1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe four-door sedan is in excellent all-original condition and is numbers matching. The car was originally purchased in Colorado Springs in 1953 and the second owner was its care-taker from 1970 to 2005. Since then, it has been in a prominent private East Coast collection. It has always been in a climate-controlled garage and for most of its life was even under a soft cotton cover! The paint is not faded, the original tires are not weather-checked and even the muffler still has some paint on it. It has the "Thunderbolt" 8 cylinder engine under the hood which is connected to the original automatic transmission. The miles are believed-to-be actual at a mere 9,512. The tire jack and lug wrench are original and the spare tire has never been on the ground. This is possibly the most perfect original 1953 Packard left in the world; do not miss a chance to own it!
