Vehicle description

Take a look at this 1968 Dodge Charger with only 3 owners and 87,535 original miles.  A family member purchased the car as the 2nd owner in December of 1979.  This ’68 was originally a TT1 medium green poly and it was taken down to bare metal and repainted in acrylic enamel black.  All glass, panels, doors, hood and trunk lid were removed so it was a complete color change.  There is zero rust and body work on this one.  The interior is 100% original as well except for the front panel of the driver seat has been replaced.  Even the original green carpet is still under the black carpet in place now. The mileage in 1989 was 84,899.  It was last registered and on the road in 1994.  At that point it was parked and covered in the garage until I purchased it in 2022.  I went through a cylinder prep process, blew the tank and fuel lines, rebuilt the carb, flushed the cooling system, installed new intake and valve cover gaskets, water pump, hoses, belts, tune-up, alternator, fuel pump, etc. and it fired right up.  The original 318 V8 runs out great, doesn’t smoke or burn or drip any fluids and she is ready to cruise. It's sitting on original mag wheels with new Cooper Cobra T/As.  I installed new shocks, wheel bearings, a new brake booster, master cylinder, all hoses, wheel cylinders, drums and shoes.  Kept it 100% drum brakes since the car is so original.  It does have power steering, power brakes, perfect original steering wheel as well as the trunk cover, jack system and AM radio which is fully functional.  All of the lights, gauges, horn and headlight doors are operational.  Cruise it like it is or drop the Hellephant in and build a solid 6-figure restomod.  Driving, walkaround, cold start and undercarriage videos to follow.  Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see additional areas.
