Vehicle description

Nicknamed "Iconic," this custom 1951 Mercury Eight is a chop-top lead-sled personally signed by hot-rod legends George Barris, John D'Agostino and Gene Winfield. Under the hood sits a chromed 351ci V8 engine paired with a C6 automatic transmission, supported by a Zirg booster fan, aluminum radiator, chromed original firewall, Edelbrock carburetor, Painless wiring system and a trunk-mounted battery. Up front sits a DeSoto grille, complemented by Mercury-correct dual spotlights and frenched 1950s Buick headlights. Inside there are white diamond-button seats embossed with the Mercury head, surrounded by plush burgundy carpeting throughout both cabin and trunk. A Dakota Digital vacuum-fluorescent dash, electric locks and power windows provide modern convenience while maintaining classic style. This car comes with a partial build book and photos documenting its creation. **TITLED AS 1951 MERCURY MONTEREY**
