Vehicle description
This 1952 Chevrolet 3600 Good Humor ice cream truck re-creation was given a full documented frame-off restoration. It sports the correct, original-style Good Humor livery along with functional side lighting, brass bells and other accessories. The chrome and stainless trim, emblems and ice cream box hinges are all new and fresh. It has been retrofitted with modern freezer boxes so ice cream snacks remain frozen solid for any event. It is powered by a 262ci V6 engine paired with 3-speed automatic transmission. It was completely overhauled in a frame-off fashion, with new brake and fuel lines, master cylinder, brake hardware, parking brake assembly, new shocks and rear suspension, aluminum radiator with cooling fans and new gauges. It rides on new wide whitewall tires with correct hubcaps. The electrical system was converted from the original 6V system to an all new modern 12V system. The custom interior was completed in a retro Good Humor blue and white material, and the driver's cabin area was completed with an overhead weatherproof shade. It is sold with its very own vintage-correct Good Humor salesman mannequin for display purposes. It is equipped with a modern amplifier sound card to play the vintage "Ice Cream Jingle." The full restoration was photo documented.
