This car features the legendary 304 cubic inch V8 motor that was initially introduced in 1949 and is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The motor in this Oldsmobile comes to a quick start and runs smoothly with no signs of abnormal noise or smoke from the exhaust. Driving this car is effortless with the combination of power steering and brakes and a long wheel base. The exterior of this car is accented by headlight shades, dual side window mirrors and the massive factory chrome bumpers. Although sharp from a short distance the paint shows its age with signs of corrosion throughout the lower portions of the car including the rocker panels and rear fender wells. The green interior shows well with just the right amount of patina, and features aftermarket gauges and seatbelts, a Custom Autosound stereo and working factory clock. This Oldsmobile is running on factory steel wheels with correct hub caps and wide white wall tires. Please note although the tires have plenty of tread life, they do have some cracking and should be replaced. Although some cosmetic challenges are due to the corrosion, this 1953 Oldsmobile has been well loved and runs great.
