Vehicle description

This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette convertible received a complete restoration that was completed in 2024. It is powered by its original 150hp Blue Flame inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Base equipment includes vinyl interior trim and soft-top. It is also equipped with directional signals, a heater, signal-seeking AM radio, whitewall tires, a parking brake alarm and courtesy lights. All components are date-code correct. This was the 39th Corvette built in 1954, and the 13th car produced in St. Louis after production was moved there. This car has an approximate birth date of January 4, 1954, one week after St. Louis commenced production. There is speculation the car was a leftover '53 because of the fiberglass pattern seen through the paint. A restoration that started in the 1980s was never completed and the car sat in storage for almost 40 years until it was acquired in 2022. The car has since undergone a complete 19-month restoration.
