A very rare bird. Tuxedo Black 1957 E-Bird, frame off restored, painted in correct, code-AA, Raven Black with very nice matching, black and white interior, trim code-AX, and rare black 1957 porthole delete hard top. One of only 1,443 E-birds built, and one of only 280 with over drive and a rare T-85 three-speed manual transmission. This rare E-Code Thunderbird received a frame-off restoration 9 years ago and has been driven less than 500 miles since then. The original 312/270hp E-Code engine was rebuilt by a Ronnie Groff, a professional Thunderbird engine builder in San Antonio, Texas. The engine is topped off with correct dual quad Holley carburetors and is nicely optioned with Ford "Sure Swift" power brakes. Even the Ford factory clock and Ford Town amp; Country radio was rebuilt and upgraded with blue tooth technology. The car comes with a rare 1957 port hole delete hard top and a full tonneau cockpit cover with no cumbersome soft top to drag out behind the seats and scratch the car. This beautiful E Bird is rolling on correct Kelsey Hayes wire wheels and Firestone wide whites for that factory correct look.
