This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette "Fuelie" convertible is powered by its original matching-numbers Rochester fuel-injected 283ci V8 engine backed by a Muncie T10 4-speed manual transmission (code 685A), with power delivered through a 4.11 posi-traction limited-slip rear axle. A multiple-time NCRS Top Flight winner, it also includes NCRS Performance Verification and earned the Zora Arkus-Duntov Mark of Excellence award in 2007. The rare Rochester fuel-injection unit (RPO 354) is serial No. 1537 with order code 579D, and additional engine details include casting No. 3758519 with ID stamp No. 107941F05IOCS. This C1 Corvette received a body-off restoration and features suspension and braking upgrades, including RPO 687 heavy-duty brakes. Finished in Roman Red (3506A) with a removable hardtop, it features a black interior equipped with a deluxe heater and a Wonder Bar signal-seeking radio. Notably, it is listed in Nolan Adams' book "Corvette: America's Legend 1958-1960" as one of the two 315hp prototypes built. It was sold new at Armbruster and Moehen Chevrolet in Saline, MI.
