The car was purchased by the current owner in 2005 and has traveled approximately 600 miles following a refurbishment conducted between 2000 and 2008 that included disassembly, repainting, interior reupholstery, and overhauling of multiple mechanical systems. Factory and period-correct equipment includes Bosch mechanical fuel injection, a wood veneer dashboard, Becker Mexico radio, heater, replacement soft top, fog lights, 13-inch steel wheels with painted covers, fender-mounted signals and antenna, vacuum-assisted hydraulic drum brakes, and independent suspension with a double-wishbone front and single-joint rear axle.
