This 1961 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a new 5.3-liter LS V8 engine topped with an LS7 intake and injectors, Holley fuel rails and Speed Engineering headers, finished with a CVF Racing front runner, Billet Specialties valve covers and breathers, Holley Swamp oil pan kit, K&N filter, NGK TR6 plugs and a 160-degree thermostat. The engine is paired with a rebuilt 4L60 automatic transmission and Lokar floor shifter. Built for modern drivability and show presentation, it participated in the 2023 Hot Rod Power Tour and rides on a custom powder-coated chassis with Mustang II power steering, Chopping Block front and transmission crossmembers, Slam Specialties SS7 air bags with an AccuAir VT tank and E+ management, rear trailing arms with custom bag mounts, a custom 14-inch rear step notch, Hart Fab front and rear wheel tubs, and a one-off custom bed floor with a custom aluminum 21-gallon fuel tank mounted under the bed. Braking and suspension are upgraded with CPP 2.5-inch drop spindles, CPP shocks, CPP disc brakes and a Baer master cylinder, along with a GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and shortened Moser axles, while exhaust exits through a custom 2.5-inch stainless system with an X-pipe and Black Widow mufflers. The cabin features custom upholstery with Relicate Gray plaid inserts, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, and a Bluetooth stereo with amp and a custom speaker enclosure behind the seat feeding two 8-inch subs and four 6-inch speakers, plus sound-deadening material throughout. Finishing touches include a smoothed firewall, custom brake lines, PSI wiring harness, black stainless braided lines with AN fittings, LMC door handles and taillights, custom Switch Suspension hood hinges, 22-inch powder-coated wheels wrapped in Diamond Back Classic whitewall tires, a ceramic-coated exterior and a Line-X-sprayed underside with a Champion electric fan and four-row radiator for cooling.
