1964 Ford Thunderbird Prairie Tan with black interior. This color was only painted for the first half of the 1964 year model year. My parents bought this car on May 12, 2004, with 108,058 miles. They were the fourth owners. This is an original Colorado car. We have had the car in Idaho since May 2022, and have put approximately 500 miles on it. Best in Driver for the 2008 International in Colorado Springs. Best in Show Driver 2010, Boise, Idaho. R134 AC May of 2019. June 2020 Upper and lower ball joints Upper and lower control arm bushings and rods Tie rod ends Heavy duty Sway bar (1-1/8” dia.) Turn front drums Rear brake shoes and drums New Shocks all around. Converted to four wheel disc in 2022. I have all the original parts from the drum brake system. New foam in front seats 2022. June 2022 Replaced a broken vacuum booster check valve. Repaired vacuum leak at intake manifold Evacuated 6 quarts transmission fluid and refilled. Evacuated 5 pints differential fluid and refilled. New Motorcraft battery August 2022. May 2024 Transmission service, pan gasket, side cover gasket, new fluid. Replaced front brake lines. I have a lot of parts for this car, approximately 7 tubs to include brake parts, ignition parts, light bulbs, and other parts. The AC switch needs to be taken out and cleaned or replaced (I have an used replacement switch). The AC works great and currently has a separate switch under the dash to turn on the compressor. We have new rubber for all the windows. The oil filter holder bracket has a small leak, however we have a new one of those.
