Vehicle description
This custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod is powered by GM's supercharged LT4 crate engine producing 650hp, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission featuring Tap Shift controls. It is supported by a powder-coated Street Shop chassis with C7 suspension, QA1 coilovers and Flaming River power rack & pinion steering. Braking is handled by Wilwood big brakes on all four corners with a Hydratech hydraulic booster and electronic E-Stopp parking brake, while a custom aluminum fuel tank with in-tank pump, DeWitts aluminum radiator, and stainless brake and fuel lines complete the supporting systems. The interior features a hand-finished Caramel leather cabin with leather wrapping on the seats, dash and console, Dakota Digital analog gauges, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, Bluetooth sound system, integrated console controls and three-point seat belts. The exterior is finished in Cashmere paint and equipped with custom Schott Turbine billet wheels measuring 19x9 in front and 20x12 in rear, with Firestone tires, LED headlights with Detroit Speed motors, sequential turn signals, a third taillight, '67-style backup lamps and a remote power hood. This build is presented by Tom Maruska, who has restored and sold three Ford Concept cars - the 1963 Thunderbird Italien, 1954 Mercury XM-800 and 1956 Mercury XM Turnpike Cruiser - in addition to numerous amphicars, Metropolitan convertibles, Thunderbirds and other models.
