Vehicle description

This custom 1966 Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 is powered by a rebuilt flat-4 engine enlarged to 1835cc and updated with dual carburetors, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Known as "California Dreaming," it features a pan-off custom build with a chopped top, wide-body fenders, shaved bumpers, custom wheels and a lowered ride height. The car was built as a show car many years ago and later placed in long-term storage before being brought back into service. The custom interior is complemented by factory-style controls, and the exterior is finished with custom striping and artwork. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts, and the build is noted as having more than 1,000 hours invested.
