Work by Mountain Rovers of Billings, Montana, included replacing the frame with a galvanized unit, a brake system overhaul, repainting the body in Pastel Green, and installing a 250ci Chevrolet inline-six, which was rebuilt in September 2024. The truck features a white-painted tropical roof, black vinyl upholstery, a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, a dual-range transfer case, 16? steel wheels, a front-mounted winch, a front-hood spare tire mount, a folding windshield, a side-hinged rear cargo door, a receiver hitch, towing rings, three-across front seats, and a rear bench. The truck was refinished in Pastel Green by Mountain Rovers, and exterior equipment includes a front-mounted Warn winch, a folding windshield, a side-hinged rear cargo door, a receiver hitch, towing rings, an ivory-painted aluminum tropical roof, a black-painted brush guard, cowl vents, H4 headlights, taillight guards, Land Rover-branded mudflaps, and dual fender-mounted side mirrors. The door, vent window, and alpine window seals were replaced as part of the 2000s refurbishment, and the rear door and bulkhead were also replaced. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 250ci Chevrolet inline-six was installed in 2003 by Mountain Rovers and rebuilt by Enginetech Machine of Santa Maria, California, in September 2024, which involved the replacement of the pistons, rings, timing set, camshaft, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, spark plugs, rod, main, and cam bearings, oil and water pump, freeze plugs, valves, and gaskets, while a replacement fuel tank was installed at the same time. The four-row radiator installed in 2017 features an electric fan and required a notch in the frame for installation. The alternator was also rebuilt in 2017. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt in 2017 and is linked with a dual-range transfer case. The transmission features a Rocky Mountain overdrive and is connected to the engine via a Scotty's adapter. The frame was replaced in 2003 with a galvanized unit. A letter from Mountain Rovers viewable in the gallery states that the VIN from the original chassis was transferred to the replacement frame.
