Vehicle description
This custom 1969 Mercury Cougar convertible has undergone a complete nut-and-bolt restoration by the O'Hare Brothers, with custom body and fabrication work performed by Benchmark Craftsmen. Finished in red metallic, it features color-keyed custom bumpers, shaved trim, smoothed shock towers, integrated body accents and 18-inch polished billet wheels. Power comes from a fuel-injected 351ci V8 engine with a mild camshaft, custom air cleaner and matching valve covers, paired with an automatic transmission. The detailed engine bay includes polished components, while performance is supported by a lowered and modified suspension, power four-wheel disc brakes, AMG dual exhaust system and recent oil service. The interior has been fully reworked with black bucket seats, a redesigned dash, hidden under-dash door poppers, Vintage Air climate control and fully functional gauges and accessories. Over $150,000 was invested in this professionally built Cougar.
