Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff INTRODUCTION: Not only does this one look tough, it is tough! Over 500 horsepower under the hood, a 4-speed and a posi makes it a blast to drive. It's also beautiful to look at, it's one handsome looking machine. EXTERIOR: This is truly one of the best looking AMXs I've seen! I love the 1970 ram air hood feature with the shadow mask and this one has spoilers front and back too. The body is excellent: straight and fits right. Repainted its original metallic Glen Green and it is polished smooth and glossy. The matte finish black hood treatment is smooth and even. The original bumpers were show chromed by Show Quality Metal Finishing. We literally just added the tires and wheels they are brand new. INTERIOR: This two seater sports car interior is looking really sharp! It has genuine leather upholstery on the seats and the optional fold down buddy cushion armrest. Down on the floor is clean carpet front to back along with embroidered mats, overhead is a new fiberglass headliner. The door panels, armrests, steering wheel and dash pad are also looking great. It has a working clock and AM radio. In addition to the factory tachometer, it also has vintage style tachometer on the column along with some pillar gauges to monitor this monster motor's vitals. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There's a powerhouse lurking under this hood! Professionally built and balanced 401 making 525 hp with a Comp cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads with a performance valve job, scorpion roller rockers, port matched R4B Edelbrock aluminum intake, Canton 8 quart oil pan, Bulltear timing, dual remote oil filters, MSD ignition and Hooker Super Competition headers. It's topped off with vintage style Edelbrock valve covers and a factory ram air system. Other features include power steering and power brakes. It was upgraded with an aluminum water pump and radiator, along with the factory shroud it runs cool. It also has a gel battery with a disconnect switch, reconditioned electric wiper motor, an overflow bottle, premium fuel lines and billet pulleys. The engine bay is very clean metal painted very neatly. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted glossy like the car. Inside is spotless metal with a spatter finish paint, it has reproduction trunk mat and weatherstrip. UNDERSIDE: The front and rear suspension has been completely rebuilt: upgraded swaybars front and back, gas shocks, new leaf springs, bushings, ball joints etc. Custom fabricated 3 inch stainless exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and polished tips. The brakes are disc in front, drum in back and the e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. The T10 4-speed has Hurst linkage and the rear end is rebuilt with 3.73 posi gears, moser axles and a good looking finned aluminum cover. The floors and frame rails look like rock solid original metal. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: Just being different isn't always a good thing. Being different and really cool is hard to achieve and this car pulled it off! The next caretaker of this car is going to be very happy. For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide is my professional opinion based on my experience with these vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central [email protected] Answered ASAP Ram Air Power steering Power disc brakes 3.73 posi Leather seats Buddy armrest Embroidered mats Tachometer Pillar gauges Clock Black Shadow Mask Spoilers Magnum wheels
