Vehicle description
1983 Jaguar XJ6One Owner. I bought this classic Jaguar off the show room floor in Dallas, Texas in 1983 and have owned and maintained it over the majority of my ownership. It is a real classic. The only modification I have done is the replacement and upgrade of the sound system and removable audio faceplate. The last time I drove the car was in 2005, when I drove it from Memphis Tennessee after relocating to my new home in Montgomery, Alabama. After arriving in Montgomery, I discovered the vehicle had a gas leak. Being a small city, Montgomery did not have a Jaguar dealership or anyone that I was aware of that I would trust to work on the car, so I just covered and parked it on my back yard driveway. Over the years I decided that I would make it a retirement restoration project. Retired recently but decided to travel the world and buy a new 2022 Jaguar F-Pace SUV instead. The vehicle has been sitting for about 15 years and needs the right owner willing and able to restore it back to its past glory. Aside from its initial gas leak issue years ago, from my observation, body work, robber dry rot, and probably a host of mechanical issues that would arise from extended inactivity of any vehicle. I have taken several pictures for review and evaluation as much as possible. Take a look at the pictures.
