Vehicle description

One of my favorite vehicles I have ever owned. Still only 75% sure I need to pass it on. But I do not drive it as much as I would like due to car seat space. Kept in the garage during the rebuild for 2+ years and then covered when not regularly driving. When I was driving this regularly in the spring/summer I was tracking at least 40 MPG. Rebuilt at 200,000 miles. This Rabbit has a rebuilt 1.6L turbo diesel engine. Rebuild was finished in April 2020. New wiper motor, front brakes and rotors, CVs, tires, timing belt, pistons, cylinders honed, head resurfaced, valves resurfaced, glowplugs, KO3 turbocharger with custom stainless steel down tube and larger exhaust damper connected to a 2.5" straight pipe out the back, Saab 900 intercooler, Neuspeed front and rear strut bars, Raceland adjustable coilovers, round Euro headlight conversion, Euro bumpers/small duckbill, New headlight assembly/LED compatible (LED bright whites installed now but I have a set of a softer color as well) with DRL bulb slot for whatever color you like (amber installed currently but comes with blue and green extra bulbs), 020 gearbox/transmission full rebuild by VW specalists Bow Wow Imports in Monroe, US Rally Team shift linkage upgrade with weighted shift linkage, rebuilt shift base and gear shift stick. Interior is in decent shape, no leaks. But does get moisture in the winter and aged seals. Drivers seat has a hole. Cut in the dash. No headliner but is lined with insulation. Exterior is in great shape. no major rust. Light surface rust on some undercarriage. No large dents. Paint is VW Cashmere White. Minor dings and speckles of worn paint with rust. Fairly rare white snowflake rims. Comes with: - 4 studded tires on rims (I have not used them in 5 years) - 2 manuals (Hanyes and Bentley) - Rear window European spoiler/fin (black) - Front grill/hood trim spoiler (black) - Triangle front vent windows (if interested in an upgrade) - Various specialty tools for VW (injection timing tools, special sockets and bits) including coilover adjustment tools. - 2 rear Wolfsburg 3point seatbelts with buckles (white) - Oil pan magnetic heater to help with the colder months. (Needless to say, I should have installed a block heater) Known issues and recent maintenance: - Vibration/pulsing in the front when turning. Could be bearings - It leaks oil (surprise) from the valve cover area. I check it regularly and almost never need to add in between oil changes. So minimal. - Rear brakes are due. - Oil and oil filter replaced. - Intake air filter cleaned - Gear box oil changed with Redline - Fuel filter replaced - New battery
