Vehicle description
This 1991 GMC Syclone pickup is powered by a turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 engine paired with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. During the 1991 production year, approximately 150 GMC Syclones were officially converted and exported overseas, with an estimated 113 units destined for resale in the Middle East. These trucks became known as the Saudi Syclones. Externally, the Saudi Syclone is identical to its U.S.-market counterpart, with no outward visual differences. As a result of the Gulf War, 31 unsold Saudi Syclones were later exported back to the United States. Of those, 30 were prepared by General Motors for U.S. sale and distributed through a lottery program for qualified GM employees. Saudi Syclone No. 2812 was awarded through this lottery to a longtime GM employee. This example was acquired from the employee's daughter and has remained within the same family ownership, where it has been carefully enjoyed. 15,826 miles (not indicated on title).
